About Us

We started to work with CSA groups from Brooklyn a few years ago. Our neighbor was their vegetable farmer and he thought it would work well to offer other foods to round out the menus of available ingredients for all their households. So we began by selling our 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and our pastured pork to the members on a pre-ordered basis. Other farms in our area had delicious products too. We now offer an array of meats, cheeses, yogurts, honey, syrup and prepared jams and sauces. Our network of farms in and surrounding Washington County, NY grows, raises, produces, harvests, and processes a variety of delicious foods. These foods are offered monthly to CSAs in the NYC area to supplement and further flavor the bounty of their weekly vegetable shares. The farmers bring their products here and we organize all the items for each delivery so each member receives the individual order they place on our website. There are frozen, chilled and room temperature items to be packed and labeled for the member's order and the accumulated into boxes for the CSA distribution site where we bring them. We deliver year round and the CSAs are creative in finding new locations for the winter distributions. You can meet Alan as he navigates the city and drops off boxes at over 10 locations per trip.

We would like to thank all our existing CSAs and JustFood.Org who are promoting the availability of farm fresh flavors to the folks in the city. This union of farms and hungry city families provides a means of sustaining and growing our farms and supporting our farm families in the life we love.
